In spite of this importance, most sales managers are not provided with the coaching and training needed to succeed. The need (and desire) for proper guidance is paramount in today's challenging times.
STMCoach consists of two distinct offerings:
Sales Manager Development Program
Designed for front line revenue managers, this six week program consists of e-learning modules plus weekly one-on-one coaching sessions. The program is tailored to address the specific needs of each candidate and focuses on teaching skills needed to succeed in the front line sales manager role:
- Leading teams
- Territory assessment and assignment
- Building internal relationships
- Hiring top performers
- On-boarding new hires
- Accurate forecasting
- Inspection and measurement
- Communication and coaching
- Building a market-leading team
- How to make revenue targets
Upon completion of the program, the candidate, their supervisor, and the STM360 coach review a "go forward" plan for the candidate, detailing action items that will contribute the most impact in the upcoming three months.
Sales Leadership Coaching
Every executive faces challenges as they accept broader and more strategic responsibilities. STM360's executive coaching programs specifically address issues faced by executives transitioning from one role to the next.
The initial coaching relationship lasts eight weeks and is structured to address specific challenges faced by the participant. Other details include:
- Designed for executives with direct or in-direct revenue responsibility
- Currently coaching people in the following roles: CEO, COO, VP of Sales, Chief Marketing Officer, Head of Channel Sales, VP of Inside Sales, VP of Client Services, Regional VP of Sales, Director of Sales
- Process includes four phases: Assessment > Plan Development > Coaching > Transition
- Weekly one-on-one session with coach that includes candidate execution of assigned action items
- STM360 coaches bring real world experience and have completed New Ventures West "Coaching to Excellence" Program
